Situated just east of Baltimore´s Inner Harbor, Fell´s Point is a waterfront community that is steeped in history. The market was first established in 1784 before undergoing a few rounds of restructuring over the years.
Discovered by William Fell and his family, the land of Fell´s Point was sold to investors that were anxious to be a part of the growth in this area. Soon shipyards, schools, churches, homes and much more turned Fell´s Point into a bustling waterfront community. Spared from the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, much of Fell´s Point real estate is on the National Register of Historic Districts with houses and buildings that date back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
