Situated just east of Baltimore´s Inner Harbor, Fell´s Point is a waterfront community that is steeped in history. Home to over 3,000 residents, this neighborhood continues to thrive with its vibrant atmosphere and prime location. Today, new development projects have helped Fells Point Real Estate maintain the innovative air that exists throughout the neighborhood.

Like the city in which it is positioned, the community of Fell´s Point is very big on the arts and entertainment scene. Attractions include numerous art galleries, a monthly art showcase, two theaters, several museums, live music venues, and the nearby Inner Harbor. When residents are not hard at work in Baltimore´s nearby business district, they can spend their leisure time in the Thames Street Park along the waterfront, the Waterfront Promenade, or the Broadway Square. Festivals and events held throughout the year include fireworks displays for both the 4th of July and New Year´s Eve, and the Fell´s Point Fun Festival, which takes place during a weekend in the fall and draws approximately 750,000 visitors during the two day event. Residents enjoy an active and very social nightlife at the many pubs and live entertainment venues that are located in and around the area. Landmark destination points within Fell´s Point include Bertha´s, which is known for its great mussels and live music, and the Cat´s Eye Pub where residents go to enjoy live music and tons of fun with friends.

With plenty of restaurants, many award-winning, residents can choose from a wide variety of tastes and flavors that are sure to satisfy any craving. If you are in search of fresh produce, meats, seafood or a quick bite to eat, the famous and historic Broadway Market is located in the heart of Fell´s Point. The market was first established in 1784 before undergoing a few rounds of restructuring over the years.

Discovered by William Fell and his family, the land of Fell´s Point was sold to investors that were anxious to be a part of the growth in this area. Soon shipyards, schools, churches, homes and much more turned Fell´s Point into a bustling waterfront community. Spared from the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, much of Fell´s Point real estate is on the National Register of Historic Districts with houses and buildings that date back to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. An annual house tour lets residents and visitors alike peek into how the neighborhood´s preservation society has allowed skillful renovation of these houses so that homeowners can live happily in the midst of great history.

Available Fell´s Point real estate options include brick row homes, condos and townhouses, and two and three-story single family homes. Eric Figurelle can show you Fell´s Point homes for sale today.
